libbpp-popgen6 software package provides Bio++ Population Genetics library., you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbpp-popgen6
libbpp-popgen6 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbpp-popgen6 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbpp-popgen6 *
You will get with libbpp-popgen6 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
